Henry T. Patterson, 82, of Holly Grove, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

He was born May 10, 1925, in Holly Grove to the late George and Willie Bell Patterson. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Normal Chapel C.M.E. Church in Holly Grove. He was a life long farmer in the Holly Grove area and was employed by Producers Rice, Inc.

He was united in holy matrimony to Doris Patterson, who preceded him in death in 2000. To this union three children were born.

Survivors are one daughter, Deloris Porter of Flint, Mich.; three sons, Henry T. Patterson of Little Rock, Lacy Patterson of Bluffton, S.C., and Larry Piggee of Los Angeles, Calif; one sister-in-law, Katie Versey of St. Louis, Mo.; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at First Baptist Church in Holly Grove, with burial in Hayes Cemetery. Arrangements are by McNeal Funeral Home of Brinkley.
