Robert Neil Bobby Washburn, age 76, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Helena Regional Medical Center. He was born August 10, 1931 in Turner, AR the son of the late Robert Lee and Janie Tyner Washburn. He was a farmer, a member of the Marvell United Methodist Church, a veteran of the United States Army and the Arkansas National Guard. Bobby is survived by his wife; Elizabeth Ann Brown Washburn of Marvell, three sons; Bill Washburn (Valerie) of Bartlett, TN, Neil Washburn (Beth) of Stuttgart, AR, Donald Ray Washburn (Barbie) of Marvell, one brother; Mickey Washburn of Hughes, AR, one sister; Joanne Bragg of West Helena, five grandchildren; Ty, B. J., Robert Paul, Will, and Kortni Washburn. Pallbearers will be Todd Russell, Jim Hindsley, Brooks Bonner, Risher Bolden, Gene Russell, and Curtis Clatworthy. Honorary Pallbearers: Stanley Russell, Glen Russell, Kenneth Crisp, and Dennis Cavette. Visitation will be 5-7 pm. Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Bob Neal & Sons-Brickell Funeral Home, Marvell. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at the Turner Cemetery with Rev. Kirk Doering officiating. Memorials may be made to the Marvell United Methodist Church.
