CONNELL'S POINT Mary Case Smalley Crisp, 94, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at the Crestpark Retirement Inn in Helena.

She was born Feb. 14, 1913, in Connell's Point to the late Robert "Bert" and Olive Lightfoot Smalley. She was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers, attending gospel singing and had a great sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by  her husband, Joshua Crisp; two sisters, Frances  Smalley and Edith Schell; a brother, Vernon C. Smalley, who died during the Bataan death march in the Philippines during World War II.

She is survived by a son, Carlos Crisp of Marvell, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Friday at Sunset Memorial Park with Bro. Harold Crisp officiating. Bob Neal & Sons Brickell Funeral Home of Marvell was in charge of the arrangements.
