HOLLY GROVE - Manalu Gannon, 81, died Tuesday. Survivors sons, Jimmy Gannon (Bobbie), Timothy Gannon (Brenda), Holly Grove, Roger Gannon (Pam), Wassau, Wis.; daughter, Judy Hartsell (John), West Helena; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. Visitation Thursday,6-8 p.m., Fowler Funeral Home, Brinkley. Funeral Friday, 10 a.m., Believers Fellowship Church, Holly Grove. Interment, McCurley Cemetery, Holly Grove.

HOLLY GROVE Manalu Gannon, 81, of Holly Grove, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at her home.

She was born in Illinois Ot. 17, 1926, to Albert and Nancy Franks Lawson. She moved with her family to Holly Grove at a very young age and lived the rest of her life there. She married Walter J. Gannon, who preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2001. She was a member of Dyer Church of God. She loved to read and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

In addition to  her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are three sons, Jimmy Gannon and wife, Bobbie, of Holly Grove, Roger Gannon and wife, Pam, of Wassau,Wis., and Timothy Gannon and wife, Brenda, of Holly Grove; one daughter, Judy Hartsell and husband, John, of West Helena; eight grandchildren, Robert Gannon, Heather Gannon, April Johnson, Tammy Simpson, Tommy Hartsell, Nancy Gagne, Zachary Gannon and Caleb Gannon; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, March 21, at Believers Fellowship Church in Holly Grove with Bro. Jerry Hopper officiating. Burial was in McCurley Cemetery at Holly Grove by Fowler Funeral Home of Brinkley. Pallbearers were Gary Bennett,Thomas Bryan, Donald Bryan, Chad Coleman, Danny Coleman andTommy Miller. Honoary pallberarers were Harry Newby, Don Parks, Gene Miller, Bruce Simpson, Zachary Gannon, Robert Gannon, Tommy Hartsell, Caleb Gannon, Larry Johnson II and Jason Gagne.

Memorials may be made to McCurley Cemetery or to Believers Fellowship Church.
