HOLLY GROVE - Fred Louis Whitfield Jr., 44, of Holly Grove, died Wednesday, Sept. 17 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. A son, Sherman Whitfield; a daughter, Shana Whitfield; his mother, Ruthie Mae Love; three brothers, five sisters and a host of other relatives survive him. Visitation will be held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at New Rising Star Baptist Church in Holly Grove. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Builders Ministries in Holly Grove. Internment will take place at Pine City Cemetery by Branscumb Funeral Home of Brinkley, (870) 734-2772.
