HOLLY GROVE -- William J. Norwood, 76, of Holly Grove, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at Stuttgart Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Ragtown Sept. 11, 1931, to William Joseph Norwood and Ethel Newman Norwood. He had worked for Mohawk Tire and Rubber Co. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed socializing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Sherry June Norwood.
Survivors are two sons, Edward Norwood of Helena and Jerry Norwood and wife, Lisa, of Scott AFB, Illinois; a daughter, Judy Tipton and husband, Donnie, of Clarendon; and two grandchildren, Cody and Ashley Norwood.
A visitation to remember and honor his life was held Monday, Sept. 1, at Fowler Funeral Home in Brinkley.
