RE: Civic Groups

Jane Dearing Dennis contributed a photo of the Holly Grove Rotary Club officers and I've place it on the Portraits photo page at the Unofficial Holly Grove Website.  The photo was taken in July, 1978.  I couldn't post all of the information with the photo, so I wanted to post it here:

1978: Holly Grove Rotary Club officers
Dennis Spurlock, president
Dean Spurlock, vice president
Ellis G. King, treasurer
Leroy Renfro, secretary.
Marten Brown, sargent-at-arms.
The Holly Grove Rotary Club was chartered in May 1937 with 18 members. Rev. Horace Pruitt was the first president. At the time this photo was taken, Ellis G. King was the only remaining charter member of the club.
