Okay, I've found out that the writer for the 1906 and 1907 Brinkley Argus columns for HG was John M. Kerr. I haven't gotten past 1907 yet.

I'm trying to find out who the writers of the Holly Grove "gossip" columns were. The earliest columns still in existence started in 1897...There were some for 1898 and then the newspapers between 1899 and 1906 were, I guess, destroyed at some point. Anyway, one of the writers of the 1906 columns was referred to "Thisbe". There are also mentions of "Cuba" and "Blue Eyes"...if any of these names sound familiar, could you let me know? Thanks!
