Martha Lee Williamson, age 88, died at the White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas, on Sunday, March 5, 2006.

The daughter of the late William B. Jones, Sr. and the late Claudia Williams Jones, she was born in Forrest City, Arkansas, on February 24, 1918. She was a homemaker and a member of the Holly Grove Presbyterian Church. She and her husband, the late Hinton Williamson, operated Williamson Grocery in Holly Grove for more than 40 years.

She is survived by one son, Bob Williamson and wife Jane of Batesville, AR; one brother, Bill Jones and wife Mary of Colorado Springs, CO; and three grandchildren, Hope Williamson, Elizabeth Kim and Sara Whitaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hinton, and son, Richard.

Services were held at 10AM, Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at the Presbyterian Church in Holly Grove with Rev. Jerry Hopper and Rev. Fern Davis officiating. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home of Clarendon.
