Ok, Friends...

Here is the final word on our get-together:

The total cost per person will be $40.00. This includes the meal and the cost of the "gathering room". We will need a headcount by June 15th and will need your money by July 1st. Hopefully, that is enough time for all of you to get in touch with your classmates. My address is 812 Hickory, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.

Sandra was in touch with Embassy Suites today and.............you better make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. As of today, they have exactly 25 rooms available for that night . Their number is 501-312-9000. Be sure and mention the Holly Grove reunion to get a small discount. There is a Courtyard Marriot directly across the street. Their number is 501-227-6000.

Below is a list of folks that will be receiving this email. Please look over the list and get in touch with anyone you can think of that needs to be included. Send me their email and I will be glad to notify them. Also, those of you that were at the gathering in January, please contact anyone that joined us that does not have an email address..............we will not be sending any "snail mail"!   We would hate to leave anyone out.

Hello, Holly Grove Alumni,

Sandra Breeding Fisher and I have finally gotten our act together and begun plans for our upcoming reunion. We met with the sales staff at the Embassy Suites yesterday and took the first step......reserving a room for JULY 22nd! We reserved a much larger room than the one we had in January.......actually we told them we are expecting at least 75 folks. So, we all need to get busy and spread the word.

Here are the details that have been planned so far:

1)   If you will be staying at the Embassy Suites, you will be receive a reduced rate. Be sure and mention the Holly Grove reunion to get the discount. You must make reservations between May 15th and June 15th to get this discount. After June 15th and before May 15th the rate will not be discounted for us.
2) There is a fee of $675 to reserve the conference/banquet room.  We have reserved it from 5:00 until 12:00.  This large room should accommodate all of us quite comfortably, therefore eliminating the need to change from room to room in order to find a suitable place to visit.
3) Sandra will be finalizing the menu sometime this week. Once this is completed, we will be able to estimate the cost per person and will pass this figure on to you.

Because we are expecting a larger crowd, we feel the need to be a bit more organized (or structured) than we were for our last get-together. Therefore, we are hoping to get a definite head count by JUNE 15th. Once we get that, we will be able to determine the exact cost per person.   We will pass that figure on to you as quickly as possible. We have set JULY 1st as the deadline for you to remit back to us. Hope this works for all of you.

So, call your friends, email your buddies, and lets try to get the word to as many interest alumni as possible.  Feel free to pass this letter on to anyone (along with my email address - sandygwebb@sbcglobal.net) who might be interested in joining us.... in sharing memories of our growing up years in Holly Grove. I have already heard from folks in the class of '61, '62, '63...........and from others whose year of graduation is unknown to me!    What fun we will have! I look forward to hearing from you.
