I've replaced the old guestbook with a new one and I'm hoping to have fewer problems with this one. I've retrieved all the old guestbook postings and put them on a separate page underneath the new guestbook - "Past Guestbook Entries" - that way, people can still keep up with who has posted here before.
I've also added at the bottom of the main page an interactive map - you can pinpoint where you live, add your name, email address, comments, and even a photo if you want. I thought it was a pretty fun idea and I hope everyone else enjoys it, too.
We've been having problems with the guestbook for the past several days. I'm not sure why - but I think the Sparklit/HTML Gear, the company the sponsors the guestbook, is having problems with their server. This has been a problem before. I've been thinking about finding a new guestbook sponsor. If I do that, I will retrieve all the old guestbook postings and put them on a separate page so they won't be lost. In the meantime, I'm going to look around for something more reliable. Thanks for your patience!!
