It looks like there are new features for the message board - mostly the new features have to do with each person's personal profile.  You can add or subtract new information to your profile and there's a new feature on your profile called a "whiteboard".  When you visit people's profiles, you can now leave a short message on the person's whiteboard.  That message is more public and can be seen by other people who've visited that person's profile.  You can check out mine when you visit my profile - I've left a short message on mine.
You can also add a small picture called an avatar next to your name, too.  When you go to your profile, you should see an option of "avatar".  There will be a library of small pictures to choose from.  Right now, I have a yellow rose for mine. 
Two really great new feature now on the message boards - you can add an image or photo into your message from a website or you can add a video from "You Tube".  

A few options that have been here for a while - when you post a message, look at the area below where you are typing - you'll see options like "Attach Poll", "Email me whenever there is a new post to this topic",  and "Attach images".  I'm attaching a photo of me and my husband, David.  Let me know if you need any help with any of the new features and I'll try to walk you through them!
