I wasn't around for the original radio program, but I do vividly recall in the mid 1960s when the classic movie "War of the Worlds" starring Orsen Welles aired on television for perhaps the first time. The movie was so "real" ... It scared the bejeebers out of me!
I was curious to know if anyone here is old enough to remember the night Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds" came on the radio? There was a show on television tonight about it and I wondered if anyone here listened to it that night?
