My Aunt Jean Sain still lives in Jackson, Mississippi. Her health has not been very good lately. My sisters and I (Sandra Sain Cross, Cheryl Sain Leslie) made a trip to visit her this past spring.

CARL EUGENE,  THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING SO QUICKLY.  I HAD REMEMBERED THAT YOUR BROTHER, J.B., WAS AN ASSISTANT COACH AT MISSISSIPPI STATE AND I AM REALLY PROUD OF HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

WE ARE REALLY HAVING A GOOD TIME WITH DANYELLE'S "UNOFFICIAL" HOLLY GROVE WEB SITE.  DID YOU SEE THE PICTURES OF CARL ON OUR SENIOR TRIP TO HOT SPRINGS?

MY WIFE, MARIBELLE JAMES LAMBERT, ARE LIVING AT GREERS FERRY LAKE NOW AND LOVE IT UP HERE.  NO SCEETERS AND PLENTY OF PEACE & QUIET!

MARIBELLE WAS FROM CLARENDON--THE DAUGHTER OF CUTTER & EVELYN JAMES.

TELL YOUR MOM HELLO FOR US.  WE ARE ENJOYING MAKING CONTACT WITH OLD FRIENDS FROM MONROE COUNTY.

UNTIL NEXT TIME!!            BOB LAMBERT

I forgot to answer the first part of the question:

I and my wife Kathy (Sperry of Clarendon) and I live in Fayetteville, AR and have since 1984.

The other brother (middle) is Bill and he and his family live in Minnetonka, Minnesota.

There's also a little sis, Gina Burns and she and her husband live in Cabot, Arkansas.

Bob, I'm Carl Eugene (not Bryan-Dad said he didn't want his son to be called Junior all his life). J.B., the youngest brother, is the football coach. He's now at Mississippi State as the Offensive Line coach. He's coached at the University of Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M and coached a Division 1A national championship team at Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, LA back in the late 80's. He is a darn good coach but never had the pleasure of playing for Coach Gordon. We all graduated from Clarendon High School and played under Buddy. I had the pleasure of serving as a junior and senior high manager for Coach Gordon when I attend Holly Grove schools from the 6th through 9th grades.

RE: SONS OF CARL GRIMES--WHERE ARE CARL & BILLIE'S SONS?  I SEEM TO REMEMBER THAT ONE OR TWO BOYS ARE REALLY GOOD COACHES.  I AM PUTTING TOGETHER AN ARTICLE ABOUT ALL OF THE ATHLETES THAT LEARNED UNDER COACH SONNY GORDON AND WENT ON TO BE KNOWN AS OUTSTANDING COACHES.

My Dad (Carl B. Grimes) died in January 1995 at his and my Mom's (Billie Yelvington) north of Holly Grove. Mom subsequently moved to Cabot, Arkansas. She's doing well and works part-time at the Cabot Library.

Bob ... do you have a '47 HGHS Yearbook? Could you list the class members? It would be interesting to see "who's who" and if visitors to the website can account for them.
