Maryland Susie Spurlock Haney, 48, of Marvell, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at Helena Regional Medical Center in Helena.
She was born in Holly Grove on Nov. 18, 1957, to Waymon Spurlock and Cora Kelly Spurlock. She lived her whole life in Holly Grove and was a member of the Baptist Church in Marion.
Her greatest love was animals, especially dogs, and she enjoyed the Internet. She dearly loved her nieces, nephews, and daughters very much.
She was preceded in death by her father, Waymon Spurlock, and brother, John Angus.
Survivors are her mother, Cora Kelly Spurlock George; her husband, Lloyd Haney of Marvell; two daughters, Jenny Haney and April Haney of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two brothers, Waymon Spurlock of Holly Grove and Ronnie George and wife, Doyla, of Marvell; four sisters, Terri Mayo and husband, James Sr., of Holly Grove, Connie Cavette and husband, Dennis, and Sheilia Reeves and husband, Tommy, all of Marvell, and Penny George of DeWitt; nieces and nephews, and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were Saturday, Feb. 11, in Franks Cemetery at Holly Grove with Bro. Charles DeWitt, officiating. Arrangements were by Brown Funeral Home of Clarendon.
Pallbearers were James Mayo Jr., James Mayo Sr., Wyatt Spurlock, Billy Burns, John Spurlock, Waymon Spurlock, Eddie Simmons and Glenn Endsley. Honorary pallbearers were Tony DeNiro, Robbie Bretherick, Scott and Todd, Butch Kelly, Billy Joe Morris and Chris Morris.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Franks Cemetery of Holly Grove.
