Congratulations to Russell Alan Bonner and his wife, Julie Farris Bonner, for being named the 2006 Farm Family of the Year for Monroe County. Russell, 36, is the son of Gilbert and Susie Prine Bonner (both graduates of Holly Grove High School). Russell, a 1988 graduate of Marvell Academy, farms 4,800 acres near Blackton.

The July 27, 2006, Brinkley Argus and Monroe County Sun featured a special eight-page section devoted to the Bonners and the Farm Family honor.
